and styles. When she’s not at MaxxCole making her clients look fabulous, Lori loves gardening, watching

movies, cooking and spending time with friends. You can also find her taking care of her family, which includes her husband of over 20 years, her two children, their 3 dogs and a cat.

Abby Hively received her Cosmetology License from the state of Ohio and completed the Hair Designer Program, which requires 1200 hours of training at the Casal AVEDA Institute in Niles, Ohio. With almost 20 years of experience and additional certifications in Qiqi Smoothing Treatments and Tape-In Hair Extensions, she’s truly a hair stylist extraordinaire. Outside of the salon, Abby loves spending time with her husband and their three children, traveling, cooking, and trying new recipes.

For over 15 years, Chelsea Buzzard has been leveraging her Cosmetology License from the Casal AVEDA Institute in Niles, Ohio to give her clients stunning hairstyles, extensions, and lashes.

She’s received certifications requiring both traditional and hands-on learning of classic eyelash extensions, Qiqi Smoothing Treatments, tape-in hair extensions, and hand tied beaded row extensions.

In her own time, Chelsea loves trying new TV shows, reading, and attending as many outdoor

concerts as possible! You can also find her pursuing several hobbies and hanging out with her family, which includes three furbabies.

Dan Pfeifer joins MaxxCole Salon with over 25+ years of AVEDA hair cutting, coloring and styling experience. Dan spent most of his career at a very prestigious Downtown Pittsburgh AVEDA Salon, transitioned to his own Salon for 5 years and now, after spending ample time with the MaxxCole Salon family, has decided to permanently join our team to deliver his impeccable work to our clients. 

 Dan is creative, fearless and has vision. He is well-versed in hair cutting for both men and women, AVEDA color services, straightening treatments and hair extensions and will be offering appointments on Saturdays. 

Dan lives in Beechview with his partner, Dean, and their adorable dog, Magic.

Ashley Lanoue earned her Cosmetology License from the Bella Capelli Academy, a Paul Mitchell partner school in  Robinson Township, Pennsylvania. She’s used this training, plus her experience, to become a well-rounded professional who can give you Instagram-worthy hair, toes, and brows. On her off days, Ashley loves taking a million pictures of her little kitten, Mel. She also enjoys trying new restaurants and cuisines and going to concerts.

Oksana Verbitska is a Licensed Esthetician & Nail Technician who has studied at both the Music University in Ukraine and Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. Since achieving her professional esthetics status 27 years ago, she’s pursued additional training from medical grade skincare line, DMK MD (Danné Montague-King ® ), earned a certification as a DMK MD Paramedical Skin Therapist, and has become a DMK Educator. Oksana has been helping women experience healthier, more radiant skin for over a quarter of a century. Outside of the esthetics profession, Oksana speaks three languages, loves to travel, read, learn new things, and enjoys fresh flowers. You can also find her spending time with her family, which includes her husband, their two sons, and one grandson.

Megan King, RN, LE brings nearly 20 years of Nursing experience to the World of DMK Skin Care Revision. 

Megan holds a B.A. in English & Writing from West Chester University, a degree in Nursing from Community College of Allegheny County and has earned her Esthetician license from South Hills Beauty Academy. In addition, Megan is a PCA Professional Peel Specialist and certified injector of Botox & filler.  

Megan also earned her DMK MD Paramedical Skin Revision Certification this spring.

Megan resides in Mount Lebanon with her husband, Justin, and their adorable dog, Russell.

Matt is a 2012 graduate of the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy and has been practicing body work around the Pittsburgh area since then. His skill set is diverse and thorough, but his massage sweet spots are deep tissue, trigger point, lymphatic drainage and myofascial work.

Matt thoroughly consults with his clients to get to the root of the problem. 

When Matt is not in the treatment room, he can be found practicing martial arts or spending time with his wife, Veronica, and their two pitbulls, Fifi and Tugboat.

Jeanine is also an interior designer and has a knack for decorating, gift wrapping and entertaining. You can expect a positive greeting from Jeanine and all of your needs to be met with professional and kindness.

Amy Zdilla is the owner of Rewired Strategies, where she specializes in streamlining marketing and digital content systems for small business owners. With a background in Computer Science & Technology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), Amy brings over two decades of experience - spanning aviation, healthcare operations, and small business marketing - into her work.

At MaxxCole, Amy oversees the full scope of social media strategy and content creation, as well as the planning and execution of the monthly client newsletter program.

Amy lives in Jefferson Hills, PA with her husband, Michael, and their Golden Doodle, Pumpkin. Outside of work, she enjoys healthy cooking, baking, long walks, and entertaining family.

Howard Lerda is a retired new construction & renovation general contractor as the owner of

Lerda Construction with 50 years of experience in his industry. He maintains the entire MaxxCole property, staying laser-focused on the clients' and employees' safety and security. Howard loves healthy cooking and organic gardening, as well as mentoring young contractors who are starting their own businesses. He and Nicole have been married for 7 years and have two daughters and three grandchildren.
