things to know before waxing
When you make an appointment for depilatory waxing services, please make sure to have at least 1/4 inch of growth, or generally speaking 2-3 weeks of growth by your appointment date. This will insure a successful service.
If you are using Accutane, Retin-A, Renova, Alpha-Hydroxy Products, blood thinners or have high antibiotic use, you may not be a good candidate for waxing. Certain physical conditions such as Diabetes, pregnancy or a predisposition to cold sores may cause heightened sensitivity of the skin.
One or two days before your appointment, you should exfoliate the area that is to be waxed.
Please do not tan 24-48 hours before waxing as it can cause increased sensitivity.
